Maplewood and Ramsey County officials in Minnesota, are meeting to discuss how to deal with the concerns that neighbors of a popular weekend flea market have expressed. County officials say the organizers of the Hmong flea market are in compliance with all applicable rules, but residents are upset over the weekend gatherings. The flea market is held most weekends from May to October and has grown, residents say, from two rows of vendors three years ago to an event whose traffic clogs streets. Event organizers have provided traffic operators and prohibited the use of megaphones, but residents still say a compromise is in order. http://www.twincities.com/mld/pioneerpress/news/local/9469393.htm
