N.J.’s Governor James McGreevey made it official a year ago – racial profiling is illegal in his state, carrying a penalty of up to five years in prison. On the heels of that, now every one of N.J.’s finest must go through training that has been designed to start a dialogue regarding what is and is not racial profiling.
