E.H. Wachs — Rodger Soeldner has been promoted to president and chief operating officer for the Wheeling, Ill.-based manufacturer of industrial pipeline equipment. Previously, he was president of Wheeling, Ill.-based EHW Enterprises.
International Association of Fire Chiefs — Jasen Brown of the Alhambra, Calif., Fire Department has received the International Benjamin Franklin Fire Service Award for Valor from the Fairfax, Va.-based organization and Schaumburg, Ill.-based Motorola. The award recognizes an individual firefighter for life-saving efforts above and beyond the call of duty.
HRG Technology Group — David Baraniak has been named president for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based technology consulting company. Previously, he was a founding partner of Milwaukee-based Lamda Tech International, which develops data collection systems for mobile mapping.
Fairfax County, Va. — Dr. Gloria Addo Ayensu, deputy health director for the Department of Health, has been appointed director of the department.
Flintco — David Parkes has been appointed senior vice president for the Tulsa, Okla.-based company’s California Division. Previously, he was president of the Northern California Division for St. Louis-based McCarthy Building.
Severn Trent Services — Carla Proulx has been appointed vice president of New Hampshire operations for the Pipeline Services Group of the Fort Washington, Pa.-based water and wastewater company. Previously, she was operations coordinator for Utility Pipeline Services, which was acquired by Severn Trent in 1998.
Autocar Trucks — Jim Johnston has been named president for the Hagerstown, Ind.-based truck manufacturer. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of the Refuse Division for Dodge Center, Minn.-based McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing.
International Truck and Engine — Dee Kapur has been appointed president of the Truck Group for the Warrenville, Ill.-based manufacturer of commercial trucks, school buses and diesel engines. Previously, he was executive director of Ford Outfitters for Dearborn, Mich.-based Ford’s North American truck operations.
HNTB — Jerry Mugg has been named vice president for the Kansas City, Mo.-based transportation infrastructure firm. Previously, he was transportation group director for the company’s Kansas City office. Additionally, the company has appointed James Beattie, Caron Kloser, Antonio LaGala, Makis Manetas and Scott Russell to be associate vice presidents.
CDM — Gary Kroll, vice president for the Cambridge, Mass.-based engineering, consulting and construction firm, has been promoted to senior vice president.
