It is a leader in the region in the areas of planning, growth management and municipal services. The City operates under a Council/Manager form of government. The City Manager reports to the Mayor and six-member City Council. Desire combination of experience and education equivalent to a BA/BS and several years comparable position (i.e., City Manager/Assistant) in a similar organization. Illinois experience preferred.
