State and local government Web sites honored
GovSpot.com has begun recognizing outstanding state and local government Web sites each month. The state home page for Indiana, accessIndiana, has been selected as the “Government Site of the Month” for March.
The award will be presented each month to an innovative site offering a wealth of government services and information online. To be considered for the award, state or local government Web pages must demonstrate innovative use of technology. The editors of GovSpot.com will look for sites that save citizens time, make efficient use of taxpayer dollars and improve access to government information.
Nominations are being accepted at http://www.govspot.com/siteofmonth/nominate.htm. Winners will be considered for GovSpot.com’s “Government Site of the Year” award at the end of 2001.
