The Z Master Z595-D zero-turn riding mower offers landscape contractors a proven high-torque diesel engine with added horsepower for tackling tough mowing conditions while delivering superior fuel efficiency. The 52-inch and 60-inch models are equipped with a 25-horsepower Kubota liquid-cooled diesel engine. Compared with gasoline, diesel fuel burns slower, produces more power from a given amount of fuel and is less expensive to purchase after taking into account off-road diesel credits — all of which can contribute to a noticeable reduction in operating costs, according to the manufacturer. The mowers offer a 12-gallon fuel capacity and 11.2-mph ground speed.
