Frozen star wanted, arrested

Frozen star wanted, arrested

The cold never bothered me anyway…

Well it sure bugs a lot of other people, Elsa.

In fact, the cold bothered the Harlan, Ky., police department enough to issue a joke warrant for the fictional Disney princess of Frozen fame, according to the Associated Press.

On the rural police department’s Facebook, officials wrote: “Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into the? song `Let it Go!’ As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous.” Last week, a winter storm system dumped more than a foot of snow in the Bluegrass State.

After the post gained some traction, the police took the opportunity to warn residents that jokes aside, the weather should be taken seriously and everyone should be careful, the AP reports.

But that wasn’t Elsa’s only brush with the law. Inspired by Harlan, the Hanahan (S.C.) Police Department went so far as to stage an actual arrest of the Disney princess.

An image posted on Glass Slipper Productions’ Facebook page shows the arresting officer fitting the princess with pink handcuffs.

“Hopefully Elsa will stay away, although it’s supposed to be cold tomorrow, so we may have to get her again,” Police Chief Mike Cochran told USA TODAY on Monday.
