A reserve power supply cabinet for traffic lights from PowerUp Power Systems provides alternate power to keep signals running in emergency situations. The cabinet operates on natural gas and features a 100-amp automatic transfer switch. The system includes a tamperproof cabinet, an OHV commercial engine and generator package. Maintenance personnel can receive reports on the unit’s operation via satellite through a secure Internet connection. The unit can be equipped with an optional GPS device for monitoring.
