Hand-held cell phone detector
The Bloodhound enables security officers to scan in real time for unauthorized cell phone activity in correctional facilities. Officers can detect the precise location of the caller using a direction-finding antenna. The detector tracks down and pinpoints contraband cell phones without interfering with authorized communication channels. It features a high-speed scanning, multi-band receiver harnessed to a multi-band direction-finding antenna that detects RF energy. A headphone jack with a progressive audible alert tone and an accompanying vibrating signal will alert security officers to cell phone activity as they move closer to the source. In addition, the on-board pulsating laser will identify the target with a blinking laser dot while in the DF mode.
