Guide to using ARRA funding to be released April 20
As state and local governments prepare projects to be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the Washington-based Urban Land Institute (ULI) is planning the release of a guide to spending ARRA money. ULI’s “Infrastructure 2009: A Pivot Point” report, scheduled to be released on April 20, analyzes the nation’s infrastructure needs, ARRA’s role in meeting those needs, and what will remain to be done after the ARRA funds are spent.
ULI will host a Webinar announcing the release of “Infrastructure 2009” from noon to 1 p.m. on April 20. The report, which also examines infrastructure investments in Europe, Asia and South America, outlines a strategy for overhauling the nation’s infrastructure rehabilitation efforts. “Infrastructure 2009” is the third annual edition of ULI’s Infrastructure series.
