URISA seeks nominations for GIS Hall of Fame
The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association is accepting nominations for its geographic information system Hall of Fame.
The Park Ridge, Ill.-based Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) is accepting nominations for its geographic information system (GIS) Hall of Fame. URISA GIS Hall of Fame inductees are individuals from any profession who have made key contributions to the use of the technology.
Criteria for being inducted into the Hall of Fame include 25 years of involvement in the GIS field, making original contributions to the field, being well known and respected by peers, and showing consistent professional and personal ethics. Nominations must be submitted by May 1.
