Two new gas-shielded, flux-cored, martensitic stainless steel electrodes are designed for welding in all positions. Model 410-AP (E410T1-1/4), which contains 12 percent chromium, is utilized to weld straight 410 stainless steel and features good corrosion and oxidation resistance up to 1,200 F. Model 410NiMo-AP (E410NiMoT1-1/4) is composed of 12 percent chromium, 4.5 percent nickel and .60 percent molybdenum with a maximum carbon content of .06 percent. This model is primarily used to weld ASTM CA6NM castings and certain 410, 410S and 405 stainless steels. Both electrodes are available in .045-inch and 1/16-inch diameters.
