Partitions
The RapidWire system of welded wire partitions features a modular design that allows users to combine standard parts to meet their specific requirements. The three basic components of the system — panels, posts and a range of door styles — provide the flexibility to design and install any type of security enclosure. For added security, a RapidWire ceiling may be added to the enclosure. For the panels, 8- and 10-gauge wires are welded at each intersection to provide mesh patterns of 1¼ by 3 inches, ⅝ by 3 inches or 2 by 2 inches; each panel is finished with 1¼- by 1¼-inch 13-gauge steel angles welded along its length. Posts are available in standard heights of 8, 10 and 12 feet; other heights are available.

Cart Lifters
The C/I Taskmaster Series of lifters is compatible with standard two-bar carts and tilt trucks equipped with lifting bars. To use, wheel the container to the lifter and press the “up” button. The lifter secures the cart to the lift plate, picks it up and dumps it. Pressing the “down” button returns the cart to the ground. The lifters can be equipped with casters, mounted to loading docks or mounted directly onto trash balers or compactors. Lifting capacities of 550, 750 and 1,000 pounds are offered, with cycle times of eight to 10 seconds. Self-lubricating composite bearings at all pivot points eliminate the need for greasing. Each lifter is powder-coated and backed by a one-year warranty.

Mobile wire bin shelving
Mobile wire bin shelving features Quantum shelf bins, which move parts and supplies to a job site. The wire shelving boasts polypropylene Quantum shelf bins with reinforced side ribs, wide hopper fronts and slotted label holders for product identification. The unit rolls on four 5-inch polyurethane casters — two of which swivel, two of which swivel with brakes. All casters feature non-marking donut bumpers to protect walls and equipment. The 80-inch-high shelving includes eight adjustable chrome shelves that support up to 800 pounds. Quantum shelf bin colors include red, yellow and blue. The units ship unassembled.

Crate Cart
Creform’s crate cart handles long, heavy and awkwardly sized containers. It maneuvers through tight aisleways and limited-space storage areas. Its simple construction with sufficient cross-bracing throughout the length of the cart ensures that each crate size can be centered on the cart for maximum support. The cart provides positioning agility and extreme maneuverability in manual operating conditions without the use of power equipment. Though carts are completely customer-specified as to size and capacity, the example cart shown features up to a 1,500-pound load-bearing capacity, and has overall dimensions of 155 inches long by 31 inches wide by 16 inches high.

Forklift attachment
The Model L4F-QC forklift attachment includes an automatic cam device that locks the attachment to the forklift, eliminating safety chains and the need for a driver to dismount the truck to secure the attachment to the forklift. The attachment is fully mechanical, requiring no hydraulic or electric connections. It handles from one to four steel, fiber and plastic rimmed drums weighing up to 2,000 pounds each (8,000 pounds total) at a time. A gravity- and spring-activated cam system automatically locks the attachment to the forks of the lift truck as soon as the attachment is raised off the ground. The cams automatically release when the attachment is set back on firm ground.

Stationary stands and mobile trolleys
Nexus stationary stands and mobile trolleys complement any maintenance, repair or assembly workspace. Stationary stand frames are sturdy, heavy-gauge steel. With the addition of a work surface, the stand becomes a workbench. Both stands and mobile trolleys are available in rear-justified or center-justified configurations to meet user needs, and are compatible with any Nexus system accessory. Vehicle restraint
The Model STR-4100 Dok-Lok vehicle restraint has been improved to stabilize the trailer with heavier loads up to 35,000 pounds. The restraint is engineered to improve loading dock productivity, reduce material damage and decrease dock equipment repair costs. The restraint securely stabilizes the trailer in the vertical and horizontal directions to ensure a smooth transition between the dock and trailer. The restraint features the manufacturer’s rotating hook design that engages the trailer’s rear impact guard in a two-point entrapment and helps prevent all forms of trailer separation.

Vacuum lifter
A below-the-hook vacuum lifter for large-diameter porous loads (such as grinding wheels, graphite, composite materials and fiberglass) features an adjustable pivoting handlebar that incorporates all vacuum attachments and crane controls in a front pendant. Operators can handle loads up to 60 inches in diameter and 500 pounds. Equipped with a remote 15-horsepower vacuum station available either electric- or compressed-air-powered, the lifter integrates fully with standard crane systems.
