Absolute Software

Computrace is a mobile IT asset management system that includes GPS tracking to locate laptops to within 33′. The system uses GPS receivers that acquire latitude and longitude information from remote computers. Information for all computers in a particular account is displayed in a Web-based portal. Location history for individual computers and reports also can be viewed.

Sprinkler

Underhill

The RollerPro is a portable sprinkler base for irrigating dry spots and newly seeded turf, such as on sports fields and park grounds. Featuring a 22″-wide stainless steel roller, the sprinkler can accommodate ¾” and 1″ hoses and has a weighted base for stability during use. It also is available with six solid brass impact sprinkler models that release water from 13 to 54 gal. per min. The impact sprinklers also are available with stainless steel drive springs and chemical-resistant bearing seals. Full- and part-circle heads provide 57′ to 96′ of coverage.

Concrete repair kit

Rhino Hide

BonZtite is manufactured for patching, leveling and resurfacing damaged concrete, including slabs, patios, pool walkways and sidewalks. The compound is available in a 10-lb. kit that includes resin, cement and tint. When mixed with water, BonZtite can be applied up to 1″ thick, and when mixed with No. 57 aggregate it can be applied up to 8″ thick. The resins also can be used with custom aggregates and cement powders. The compound can be tinted to match the surrounding material and can be patterned and textured for a non-skid surface. The 10-lb. kit can cover 25 to 30 sq. ft. and is portable for smaller applications, including ramps, posts, sidewalks and curbs. It is available in a 50-lb. kit that covers 100 to 125 sq. ft. The compound does not contain volatile organic compounds and is designed to cure without shrinking or cracking.

Access mats

Signature Flooring Systems

The DuraDeck line of heavy-duty ground protection and access mats is designed to create a protective roadway, walkway or work platform over a variety of terrain and surfaces. It is manufactured to protect lawns and other landscaped areas from damage caused by vehicles or equipment, and to provide traction for vehicles operating on soft ground or a safe walkway for pedestrians. DuraDeck1 is a ½”-thick mat constructed of recycled polyethylene plastic that can support vehicles weighing up to 60 tons. The 4′ × 8′ flexible, waterproof mats can be connected for continuous surfaces and include a double-traction tread design on both sides. DuraDeck2 can be used in a variety of applications as it features a non-slip, pedestrian-friendly surface on one side and a rugged traction design on the other.

Spot sprayer

TurfEx

The company’s line of skid-mounted spot sprayers are manufactured for weed spraying, turf maintenance, tree and flower watering, and pest control, and can be mounted in utility vehicle or pickup beds. Available in 50-gal. and 100-gal. models, the sprayers are constructed of corrosion-resistant polyethylene and include 50′ hoses on 100′ capacity hose reels, and long spray wands with trigger actuation. The sprayers include 12-volt diaphragm pumps, which move liquid at 5 gal. per min., and operate by connecting to a vehicle’s electrical system. Trailer kits also are available.

Hydroseeder

Finn Corp.

The Titan Hydroseeder is manufactured for commercial applications, such as erosion control, highway maintenance, dust control and landfills. It is powered by a 170-hp. turbo diesel Cummins QSB engine that includes a control panel with a digital information display, and self-diagnostics for monitoring operations. A dual discharge boom system also is available. The hydroseeder is available in three tank sizes ranging from 2,500 gal. to 3,600 gal., and can spray up to 320′. It features a third mechanical paddle agitator for handling tough material mixtures and heavy products. The hydraulic motor and gearbox drive for the lower agitators is intended to help mix materials more efficiently. The 28 ½” by 48″ hatch opening is designed to simplify loading, and features a dual pivoting stainless steel bag cutter and safety bar. A second boom for spraying from both sides of the tank, and remote control for adjusting agitator speed, mixing direction and hose rewind are optional.

Chloride

The Diskuss features a slim wall mount design and uses white LEDs with a custom reflector for illumination. Constructed of die-cast aluminum, the unit includes a polycarbonate lens and is available fully gasketed. It can be used indoors and outdoors, and can serve as an emergency lighting system, featuring a dual voltage input with surge protection. The Intelli-Charge is a self-diagnostics system for monitoring functions. The sealed nickel metal hydride battery powers the light for 90 minutes during emergencies. A variety of finishes also are available.

Kim Lighting

The Lightvault series of in-grade uplights is manufactured for use in walk-over locations and high-traffic pedestrian areas. The system is available in 26-, 32- and 42-watt configurations and can be used for lighting trees, monuments, flag poles and other landscape features. Its lenses use low-heat compact fluorescent technology to reduce temperature to as low as 50° C. It can withstand various environmental conditions, including moisture, fertilizer, flooding debris, vandalism and UV rays. The cast bronze and stainless steel rings help the system blend with foliage and paving materials.

LDPI

The line of inspection lighting fixtures and carts are manufactured for use in hazardous, industrial and commercial work areas. Permanent fixtures are available in 4′ and 8′ lengths and are constructed of a cold-rolled steel, one-piece housing. Ideal for paint area inspections, the fixtures create light and dark contrasts for detecting paint defects. The company also offers two- and three-fixture portable lighting carts. The fixtures on the 4′ carts can be mounted vertically or horizontally and are attached with swivel mounting brackets.

Capri Lighting

The 6″ vertical downlight is designed for use with 13- and 18-watt compact fluorescent lamps in commercial, educational and office facilities. The fixture features adjustable socket cups and snap-fit installation. It is available with gold, black, white, iridescent and wheat reflectors, and is available with a variety of lenses. An integral or remote emergency system also is available.

LED lighting systems

Richelieu

The dimmable LED lighting line can operate for up to 50,000 hours and features low voltage and minimal heat. The LED Dream can be surface-mounted, recessed or semi-recessed, and features a steel insert on the screen that acts as an electronic touch on and off switch. The LED Shine is a spotlight designed for commercial, residential and office applications. It is surface-mounted, and up to eight lights can be connected on a single power supply. The LED Modus system features an aluminum design and can accommodate one or more 1.2-watt LEDs. The square-shaped LED Net SP can connect up to eight lights on a single power supply. The LED Pixel OB can be installed underneath cabinets with up to eight lights.

Measurement system

Palintest

The ChloroSense is a portable reagent-free chlorine measurement system that uses an electrochemical sensor to measure free and total chlorine simultaneously. The system also measures temperature and features a testing process range of 0.02 to 100 mg. per liter. Testing results are stamped with time and date and are stored in the system’s memory. Results can be transferred to a PC without using special software.

Vibration switch

Hawk Measurement

The Gladiator Vibration Switch series is designed for level detection, such as pump control, for a variety of industries including water and wastewater, and chemical processing and refining. It is ideal for use with various liquids and solids, such as slurries and pelletized materials. The system includes two prongs on a fork, and, when the level of a material rises, the movement of the fork is blocked. The unit also is available with a variety of communication options, including the company’s GosHawk that allows users to calibrate, test or check the system’s performance remotely.

Signal converter

Krohne

The IFC 100 signal converter can measure electrode resistance to indicate gas bubbles and solid particles, and electrode noise to determine chemical resistance. Coil resistance also can be monitored for magnetic field quality and flowmeter temperature. Designed for use with the company’s Optiflux electromagnetic flow sensors, the unit features a 0.3 percent measuring accuracy. It can be mounted directly on a flow tube in two configurations. It can be installed horizontally with a 45°-angled display. A flat-mounted version can be used with vertical pipe installations. A wall- or pipe-mounted converter can be mounted apart from the flow tube. It can be rotated in 90° increments. Available with a rugged metal enclosure, the unit features a large, backlit display and push-button soft keypad, and various user languages.

The DuroMaxx is a high-density polyethylene pipe for drainage and detention applications. It features a structured outer wall and a smooth internal surface as well as embedded vertical steel strips. The lightweight pipe has watertight, 15-lbs.-per-sq.-in. joints and is available with pressure-rated resin to eliminate cracking. Available in 20′ lengths and up to 120” in diameter, the pipe can be used with a variety of joint-tight fabricated fittings, including bends, elbows, tees, slope junctions and reducers.

Solid Waste

Automated tipper

Wayne Engineering

The Arlock tipper system is manufactured for rear loader collection vehicles. Rear loaders can latch onto commercial dumpsters and tip, dump and release in a single motion. The unit’s latching system locks onto both sides of a dumpster’s trunions. While the latching arms pull up on the trunions, a kick bar pivots upward, which empties the dumpster. When the tailgate plate extends upward, it eliminates the gap between the tailgate and dumpster, preventing refuse from escaping. Available on the company’s Phoenix rear loaders, the unit also can be retrofitted to other rear load vehicles.

Equipment tracker

OEM Data Delivery

The ST-900 Service Tracker is manufactured for tracking equipment activity at multiple, harsh working environments, such as construction and landfills. The unit records cumulative machine hours, equipment location, mileage and other specifications that are identified by the user. It also produces service alerts for scheduling equipment maintenance, and can be used with the company’s Fuel Tracker option to monitor fuel dispensing into individual equipment and vehicles. The unit produces management reports that can be e-mailed, or Web reports that are password-protected. Information also can be uploaded into any office system and can be integrated with accounting software.
