Atlanta hosts National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials conference
Hundreds of city government officials are in Atlanta for the Washington-based National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials’ (NBC-LEO) annual summer conference. During the conference, which began Wednesday and ends Sunday, NBC-LEO members are expected to discuss economic development best practices, public safety initiatives and more.
Atlanta City Councilwoman and past NBC-LEO president Felicia Moore welcomed the conference attendees. “The conference grows more and more each year, and I am proud to have this event in our extraordinary city.”
NBC-LEO is an affiliate of the Washington-based National League of Cities. More information on the group and the conference is available at
