Alexandria and NAHB were recognized for The Station at Potomac Yard development, and Wichita and Bank of America for the “21st Street & Opportunity Drive” initiative. Winners of Outstanding Achievement awards include Buffalo, N.Y., with Voorhees, N.J.-based American Water; Colorado Springs, Colo., and Johns Creek, Ga., with Denver-based CH2M HILL OMI; Elizabeth, N.J., with New York-based Verizon; Germantown, Tenn., with Philadelphia-based Comcast; Providence, R.I., with Houston-based Waste Management; Tulsa, Okla., with Addison, Texas-based Staubach Co.; and Wilmington, Del., along with Dallas-based ACS State & Local Solutions.
Decatur, Ga.; the Georgia Department of Transportation; and Dekalb County, Ga., have received the Dan R. Brown ACI Award for projects using concrete from Tucker, Ga.-based Georgia Concrete and Products Association.
