Welder offers seven voltage taps for precise arc control
With 25 to 210 amps of power in a 77-lb. package, Handler 210 can weld mild steel up to 38 in. and aluminum up to 14 in. All-in-one MIG welder provides low-end control that enables welding 24-gauge material without burn-through or excess spatter. Plugs into standard 230-volt ac outlet and delivers full output power with a normal 35-amp breaker. Seven voltage taps with enhanced magnetics, better inductance and infinite wire-feed speed control enable users to make arc adjustments in finer increments to best suit their preferences of travel speed, joint design, welding position, wire diameter and shielding gas composition. Optional DP-3035 direct plug-in spool gun with 4-in. roll of wire reduces erratic arcs, burnbacks, bird nesting and other problems associated with hotter, spray transfer MIG process. DP-3035-20 extends reach up to 20 ft. and allows convenient switching between different wires. Hobart Welding Products, Lithonia, Ga.
