Team Unity, an alliance of four members of the Boston City Council, is at the center of a growing division on the council. Council members who aren’t on the team say they feel left out, and recently balked at approving a certificate honoring a local church because it had a picture of the Team Unity members at the top, according to The Boston Globe. The members of the team say other councilors on the 13-member body had formed similar voting blocs, and they were just “a group of nonwhite city councilors trying to promote their agenda.”
