A rabbi and a Catholic priest walked into a press conference at Chicago’s City Hall and announced their support for the city’s ban on foie gras. The city council recently banned the delicacy, which is made from the livers of geese and duck that have been force fed, saying it is cruel to animals, according to the Chicago Tribune. Alderman Bernard Stone wants to repeal the ban, saying it has made the city a national laughingstock, and Mayor Richard Daley also says he wants to reverse the decision that he calls “silly.”
