Wyoming officials say the state needs guidance on how to implement the federal Real ID Act. The act requires all driver’s license applicants to present several documents to get their licenses by May 11, 2008, and each state must be able to verify those documents, according to the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle. However, the support services administrator for the state’s Department of Transportation says the department does not have the computer program to verify the documents, and he does not know when it will.
