Officials in Orange City, Fla., say they’re optimistic that they will reach a deal on mutual emergency response with surrounding Volusia County. Orange City’s city manager says the big problem is a part of the agreement that makes the county the primary emergency medical provider for the south side of the city, according to the Daytona Beach News Journal.
