Travelers on Atlanta’s MARTA trains soon will be able to toss all their tokens. The city has updated all 38 of its stations to the computerized “Breeze” fare gate system that allows riders to buy reusable cards that can be used for multiple trips, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A computer chip in the cards keeps track of how much money the owner has remaining on the card to use for train fare.
