Irrigate golf courses via interactive software
Windows-based Genesis III software runs on companion field controllers. Modular design allows each controller to store irrigation programs, without dependence on central computer, while enabling future expansion. Accepts scanned-in aerial photos, scorecards, or drawings to create custom map of golf course. Interactive graphics allow on-screen viewing of each hole on course to identify control zones for programming changes. Allows remote control of system via radio, hard-wired communications, or telephone modem. Can use current, local weather readings to calculate amount of water needed by each plant type on every day of the week. Also monitors real-world conditions to allow for emergency shutdowns. In addition, built-in Flow Optimizer automatically adjusts irrigation start times to balance hydraulic flow, reduce energy costs, and extend equipment life. Saves irrigation scenarios for different conditions, allowing recall whenever same conditions return. Also generates many reports.
