Seago has released a new trimmer attachment that is designed to fit smaller string trimmers with less than a 30cc engine. The Hover Trimmer is intended to be the middle ground between a string trimmer and a hover mower. When the hood is low over the blade, the Hover Trimmer can function similar to a mower and trim at a consistent height. Pull the hood back and the Hover Trimmer can perform more like a brush cutter, taking on those more difficult tasks. Announced in November, the new standard model is smaller than the Pro Model released in 2013. Seago representative Scott Sweeney said in a statement that the new model is a response to questions about fitting the attachment to a smaller string trimmer.
