The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District recently completed one of the largest ultraviolet (UV) wastewater disinfection projects in the country. In its Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant, St. Louis constructed the cutting-edge system, which can treat 240 million gallons of effluent per day.
