A member of the St. Lucie County, Fla., Health Department’s Medical Reserve Corp. adds some special effects to a student from Indian River State College for a large-scale public safety exercise held Dec. 4 at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie. The simulated terrorist event involved more than 300 officials from the St. Lucie County Public Safety Department, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, the Fort Pierce Police Department, the Port St. Lucie Police Department, the St. Lucie County Fire District, The Red Cross, local hospitals and others.
