Bay Tunnel
Elected officials and senior water officials from San Francisco, San Mateo County, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency celebrated the first Hetch Hetchy drinking water deliveries through the new Bay Tunnel. The ceremony was held at the very same place where the first Hetch Hetchy Water entered Crystal Springs Reservoir at the historic Pulgas Water Temple, 80 years ago last month.
