A National Academy of Sciences panel has said that plans from the Army Corps of Engineers and Louisiana for restoring coastal wetlands do not go far enough. According to an Associated Press story on Yahoo! News, Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco asked the academy to review the Army Corps’ projects after the White House Office of Management and Budget encouraged a focus on shorter-term projects. Yahoo! News
