Officials at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, under threat of a federal civil rights lawsuit, have removed several aging “holiday trees” from public areas. A rabbi with the Central Organization for Jewish Education Lubavitch had planned to sue the Port of Seattle after officials refused to display a menorah along with the trees, according to The News Tribune. Port of Seattle officials say the trees were old, anyway, and they want to address the issue after the holidays.
