Washington, D.C. – The National League of Cities has launched a new project to encourage and assist city officials and community based organizations in forming collaborations to serve the needs of the poor and reduce poverty.
The City Halls and Community Organizations project is being supported by the Ford Foundation.
Rodney Foxworth, a former manager of several non-profit community organizations in the Boston area, will manage the project, which will examine opportunities and obstacles to anti-poverty collaborations.
