Snowplow drivers in Madison, Wis., faced an extra challenge in clearing Gilman Street in early December. They turned the corner to find that residents, armed with cameras and snowballs, had built a frosty rabble of snowmen in the street, directly in the plows’ path, according to local television news station WISN’s Web site.
A video of the incident was posted on the video-sharing Web site YouTube, showing the residents pelting the trucks as they mowed down the helpless snow-mob.
“Fueled by the excitement of a Wednesday snow day, the residents of Gilman St. decided to cause a little trouble,” one YouTube user posted with the video. “Nature gave us snow, we gave the world great snowmen … until the snow plows came along.”
