Colorado:
A) Amendment 69 (initiative amendment) establishes a state-funded universal health care system— ColoradoCare — that is funded by an additional 10 percent income tax. Did not pass.
B) Prop 106 (initiative statute) allows physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients. Passed.
Nevada: Ballot Question 4 (initiative amendment) exempts medical equipment from sales tax. Passed
Washington: Advisory Vote 14 (required by constitution) asks voters if they’d like to keep or repeal a new tax on dental insurance premiums. Repealed.
