The Gary, Ind., Housing Authority Board of Commissioners is about to be completely cleared out. On Wednesday the bankruptcy attorney selected by the city to preside over hearings on Gary Mayor Rudy Clay’s accusations of financial mismanagement by the commission ordered that the remaining members of the commission leave office, according to the Gary Post Tribune. Two members of the commission resigned last week, and attorney Wardell Hampton found that the remaining five were responsible for the authority’s financial woes, including eight months of negative cash flow.
