Company seeks Big Green ideas
Dubuque, Iowa-based Cartegraph is accepting submissions for its inaugural Big Green Idea Contest, a competition designed for organizations interested in sustainable ideas and innovations. The company is seeking submissions that demonstrate how government organizations are using creativity and foresight to cultivate new and unique approaches that support smarter, more sustainable communities.
Suggested topics include revitalization, conservation and preservation of resources, environment, and community. Cartegraph also is offering a free “Best Strategies for Sustainability” white paper, which includes examples of sustainability at work. All contest submissions will be judged on creativity, feasibility and practicality. The contest is not limited to Cartegraph customers.
The deadline for entries is July 31, 2010. The winner of the Big Green Idea Contest will receive one complimentary registration for the Cartegraph CONNECT conference, scheduled for Oct. 4-7, 2010. The winner also will be mentioned in a feature article highlighting the winning idea and the organization from which it came.
