The Hillsborough County Planning Commission has presented St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Harvard Jolly with the “2009 Award of Outstanding Contribution to the Community” for the Town N’ Country Commons library, senior center and head start facility, in Tampa. The 45,000-square-foot facility won first place in the commercial, public or quasi-public category. Town ‘N Country Commons replaced an aging one-story library and is located within the context of the Hillsborough County Master Plan for the Town ‘N Country Traditional Neighborhood Development.
