Gwinnett County, Ga., has purchased a membrane bioreactor ultrafiltration system from Trevose, Pa.-based GE Water & Process Technologies for use in the Yellow River Water Reclamation Facility.
Hillsboro, Ore., has contracted with Morris Township, N.J.-based Honeywell to install solar panels to power the city’s water storage facility.
Olathe, Kan., has contracted with Overland Park, Kan.-based Black & Veatch to help engineer the expansion of the Cedar Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Louisville, Ohio, has purchased an “intelligent video” security system from St. Louis-based Arteco for the city’s water treatment plant.
Glendale, Ariz., has contracted with Denver-based CH2M HILL OMI to design and build the city’s Zone 4 Groundwater Treatment Plant. The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department also has contracted with the company to build and help operate its South District wastewater treatment plant.
