Hamilton County, Iowa, has contracted with Brookfield, Wis.-based R.A. Smith & Associates to perform economic development planning for a value-added agricultural park. Omro, Wis., also has contracted with the company to prepare its Space and Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. Brookfield, Wis., has contracted with the company to complete an economic feasibility study for commercial redevelopment of a four-block area.

The New Mexico Aging and Long Term Services Department has purchased 525 Brain Injury Recovery Kits from DayTimers, a division of Lincolnshire, Ill.-based Acco Brands for brain injury patients and their caretakers. The first 60 kits will be donated to the Brain Injury Association of New Mexico.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has contracted with Lenexa, Kan.-based Terracon to provide environmental services statewide, including state water plan contamination remediation.

The San Bernardino, Calif., Associated Governments has contracted with Omaha, Neb.-based HDR to provide preliminary engineering and environmental services for the reconstruction of two heavily traveled at-grade railroad/street crossings.

Grand Rapids, Mich., has contracted with Rochester, N.Y.-based Pictometry International to provide aerial imaging for property assessment, planning, public safety and other applications.

Chattahoochee Hill Country, Ga., a new city that will formally open in Fulton County, Ga., on Dec. 1, has selected Denver-based CH2M HILL OMI to design, implement and operate all of its municipal processes and services, including administration, public works and community development services.
