The Kent County, Del., Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant has received an Achievement Award from the Washington-based National Association of Counties for its environmental health and safety management system. The plant also received the Operations and Maintenance Excellence Award from Region III of the Washington-based U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Seattle’s City Hall has received the Innovative Design in Engineering and Architecture with Structural Steel award from the Chicago-based American Institute of Steel Construction.
Fairfax County, Va.’s Consumer Protection Division has received the Achievement in Consumer Education award from the Brentwood, Tenn.-based National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators in recognition of the division’s education programs.
Fort Washington, Pa.-based Severn Trent Services Project Manager Dale Hill has received the Loren Oeming Award from the Bath, Mich.-based Michigan Water Environment Association (MWEA) for the outstanding industrial facility operation. Project Manager Jerry Seay also has received MWEA’s Donald M. Pierce Award for outstanding municipal plant operation.
