Washington, D.C.-area drivers are giving good reports on a new highway ramp system in Virginia. The $676 million interchange at the “Mixing Bowl” on Interstate 395 is almost done, and commuters say it is doing a good job of relieving bottlenecking problems that previously plagued the interchange, according to the Washington Post. The planning director for the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments said the project would remove a number of “choke points” that caused unnecessary traffic jams.
