Manager, Development Services Center
$70,442.49 – $110,964.19 per year plus excellent benefits package
The City of Henderson, Nevada’s second largest city, seeks a dynamic and innovative MANAGER, DEVELOPMENT SERVICES CENTER to manage the day-to-day operations of the Development Services Center established to provide “one-stop” centralized permitting services. The Development Services Center is funded from the $16 million Development Services Center Enterprise Fund, which funds approximately 120 employees. The Development Services Center is designed to meet all plan review and permitting needs of citizens and the development community. Representatives from Building and Fire Safety, City Clerk, Community Development, Finance, Information Technology, Public Works, and Utility Services are co-located in the Development Services Center.
The ideal candidate has:
- a strong senior level background in providing high quality coordinated development services
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, or closely related field
- five (5) years of experience in municipal or county land development and permitting, one (1) year of which must have been at the supervisory level OR an equivalent combination of closely related education, training, and experience
- Master’s degree highly desirable.
