Water/Wastewater Engineer

Qualifications include but are not limited to: BS in Civil or Sanitary Engineering; registration as an EIT or equivalent; the ability to secure registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama within three years of employment; valid Alabama DriverÕs license; minimum of two years experience in water and wastewater systems design; thorough knowledge of the design and construction of sanitary sewerage and public water supply systems; computer literacy including Windows, Microsoft word, Excel, GIS planning and mapping software and other software; ability to perform all essential job functions. Must be able to develop and update system mapping, hydraulic schematics, and process and instrumentation diagrams. Requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills including the ability to prepare and deliver formal presentations. Salary range: $42,753.53 – $57,820.20. Closing Date: Open til filled.
