BullEx HazMat Training Tools (with related video)

BullEx HazMat Training Tools (with related video)

BullEx Digital Safety's hazmat training materials are a complete hazmat training package, including simulators, for firefighters, other first responders and safety personnel.

BullEx Digital Safety has been awarded a GSA contract for its hazmat training materials which include a gas detector training system, a hazardous materials placard kit and a leaking propane tank simulator. Firefighters and safety personnel use the tools as they conduct hands-on hazardous materials response training.

The BullEx GasTrainer is a gas detector simulator that helps firefighters and safety personnel learn how to properly meter for gases and respond to emergencies. The system uses simulated electronic gas sources to create virtual “hazardous areas” and a handheld training gas meter that detects the simulated gas concentrations. The gas sources can be set up in work areas, chemical storage facilities, and near HVAC equipment where hazmat dangers can actually exist. Students can be trained how different gases behave, how to locate emission sources, and how to establish safety perimeters in the event of a hazard situation.

The HazardTank and Leaking Propane Tank are compressed gas cylinder props that create a hissing sound effect when the tank valves are opened. Onboard electronics and integrated speakers create a loud simulated gas leak.

The GSA GasTrainer Package includes an instructor unit, a student unit, three gas source emitters and a carrying case, while the enhanced GSA hazmat Training Tools Package also includes the hazmat Placard kit and the choice of a HazardTank or Leaking Propane Tank Prop.

“BullEx training systems have proven to be ideal tools for safety officers from federal, state and local government agencies all across the country. We are very proud to have been awarded a GSA contract for our newest hazmat products and look forward to working even more closely with our government clients moving forward,” said Simon Balint, CAO of BullEx. “Hands-on confined space training, gas monitoring, and hazmat response training should be an integral part of any organization’s safety training. Fortunately, GasTrainer offers a safe, clean and truly realistic way to challenge firefighters, first responders, and other safety personnel.”

Product Highlights:

  • Simulate gas leaks with the HazardTank and Leaking Propane Tank and set the scene with the HazMat Placard Kit.
  • The GasTrainer uses GasSource emitters and sensor technology to simulate chemical and explosive gas emission sources.
  • Rugged handheld meter reads the electronic emissions of four different gases, with customizable alarm levels and intensity settings.
