Vice president meets with young leaders
A visit with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was the highlight of a trip to the United States for two Indonesian participants in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Professional Fellows Program.
The YSEALI program brings several hundred emerging leaders from around the world to the United States each year for intensive fellowships designed to broaden professional expertise. Funded by the U.S. Department of State?s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and sponsored locally by the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, the program is managed by the International City/County Management Association.
