CanagaRetna predicts considerable uncertainty surrounding federal policymaking with the new Trump Administration and the new Congress. He sees multiple unknowns involving tax, spending and regulatory policy changes at the federal level in 2017, and he’s uncertain how those unknowns will impact the national, and by extension, the state economies.
“For the first time since the Great Recession, an increasing number of states are facing significant budget challenges,” CanagaRetna explains.
