Nan Whaley, mayor of Dayton Ohio, tells GPN that job growth for the Dayton area has been strong, and that city officials are hopeful that the trend will continue into 2017.
“After experiencing our best year for income tax growth in two decades, 2016 income tax collections, our largest revenue source, have continued moderate growth,” adds the mayor.
On the expense side, says Mayor Whaley, “We continue to look for ways to work smarter and leverage technology to provide high quality services to our community.”
