Instead of replacing older trench shields, shoring or support equipment, underground utility operators can turn to Efficiency Production for repair and recertification, regardless of the equipment’s manufacturer. After a consultation to determine repairability and obtain a quote, parts — including broken top tubes, end tubes and spreader pipe collars — are shipped to Efficiency for repairs. If desired, older equipment also can be retrofitted to meet current Efficiency specifications (including the addition of triple vertical tube collar posts, reinforced collars and double-tube top rail). The customer’s pieces then are stamped with OSHA-compliant, P.E.-certified manufacturer’s tabulated data before being returned.
