Crown Communities Awards 2012

2012 was a banner year for submissions to this year’s Crown Communities Awards. The judges saw impressive innovation on both small and large scales and in many categories. The seven winners proved to be smart in their approach to dealing with issues and in some cases solved their problems with very little funds. Our congratulations to them and to the dozens of other nominees who showed that when challenged, America’s local governments can rise to the occasion.

The winners are:

  • Palmetto Commerce Parkway Project (Charleston County, S.C.)
  • Antelope Valley Project (Lincoln, Neb.)
  • EMS Call Triage Project (Louisville, Ky.)
  • Public Safety Complex (Ocean Springs, Miss.)
  • Western Municipal Water District (Riverside, Calif.)
  • Waste Reduction Program (Sandwich, Mass.)
  • Water Reuse Project (West Monroe, La.)
