OMNIA Partners and Amazon Business help students get essential in-home learning items

Distance learning creates new hurdles for educators who rely on paper driven processes. With over 50MM students now learning remotely, Amazon Business developed the Distance Learning Hub as a resource center for preK-12 institutions to continue their educational mission. On the Hub, educators can purchase prioritized education supplies, access a new tool that can fast-track allocating relief funds to teachers in the district, as well as activate flexible, multi-location delivery options to get physical and digital resources quickly to students.

OMNIA Partners is pleased to collaborate with Amazon Business on a new effort to help preK-12 districts get essential in-home learning items to students. Education institutions can utilize the Amazon Business cooperative contract, available through OMNIA Partners to assist with education procurement driving efficiencies and speed to the purchasing process.

Prioritized education supplies. Purchase essential education supplies, learn-at-home technology and shelf-stable foods in the Distance Learning Supplies store. These products are in stock and are expected to arrive in seven days or less. Work directly with Amazon Business to source large quantity orders by utilizing Amazon’s supply chain.

Fast-tracked relief fund allocation. Use Budget Management capabilities to quickly allocate relief funds to schools or teachers. Reduce manual processes, manage spend with pre-purchase approvals, blocked products and spend limits, while tracking to purchasing guidelines.

Flexible, multi-location shipping. Support the distribution needs of your district by establishing pre-purchase approval workflows for any purchases, and shipping products to multiple locations – including central warehouse locations, drive-in/pick-up locations, or even directly to students’ homes – so that essential items get to students and they can resume learning.  Use Amazon Business Analytics to track purchases made from the Amazon Business account.
