Jon Cecil, planning manager for the Capital City Development Corp. in Boise, Idaho, took this photo of St. Francis Cathedral last week in Santa Fe, N.M. According to cathedral’s website, it was built in the late 1880s on the site of an older adobe church, and an even earlier church occupied the site in the 1600s. The Romanesque Revival style stands in contrast to the city’s surrounding adobe structures.
