docSTAR MapConnect Version 2.0 allows state and local governments to link documents to locations. Deeds, plans and permits, for instance, can be associated with parcels of land. Asset-based documents, such as inspection records, can be linked to signs or hydrants, and floor plans and infrastructure drawings can be linked to structures. The software makes it possible for first responders to have immediate access to the information they need to maximize their effectiveness, and also speeds the flow of information within government agencies.
